h.264 Video Codec:

H264 hardware acceleration doesn't work with MPC-Homecinema Filters (SourceForge.net: Files).

DXVA works with MPC Homecinema itself.

Did use WinXP SP3, VMR9 renderer on both applications, Radeon 3850 AGP video card...

Greetz,

    Hi,
It's not tested & added to the list, so it's not a bug ;)
Which filter is it (so many there & i don't know which one it could be)?

    Regards
    Roy

    Hi,
Found it & have tested & it seems to work as it should here(when connected to hali), but for TV watching this filter it's not selected cause it will not connect to TsReader(probably a limit on MPC filter or a bug in MPC filter).
The configuration can't be done in MP like for the other filters(I dunno if it will be added either), but if you use GraphEdit(do a google) & connect to the filter you can see if dxva it's enabled(it was here)..

    Regards
    Roy

The Box where it says "USE DXVA" is checked, thats right but is the codec really using DXVA?
It does with the MPC but doesn't with the MP. At least not on my PC...

    Hi,
Did you check that MPC filter was used during playback in MP(use graphEdit & File -> "connect to remote graph" while MP play media)?
Attach a log after you tried to play so i can see what media you use, maybe a bell rings ;)

    Regards
    Roy
