Setup:
Display_1: 1920x1080 LCD monitor connected with DVI cable
Display_2: 1920x1080 24p projector thru Denon AVR connected with HDMI cable
Internal player used

Situation 1.
Display_1 set as primary, MP set to start on Display_2. Dynamic Refresh Rate on playback changes ref.rate on the Display_2 (OK) but the playback is shuttered.

Situation 2.
Display_2 set as primary, MP set to start on Display_2. Dynamic Refresh Rate on playback changes ref.rate on Display_1 (NOT OK, as the opening display in the config is set to Display_2). Playback is smooth if i set Display_2 on 24Hz in windows, and disable Dynamic Refrash Rate i MP config.

Situation 3.
Display_2 set as primary, MP set to start on Display_1. Dynamic Refresh Rate changes ref.rate on Display_2 (NOT OK, as the opening display in the config is set to Display_1). Playback is not 24p since Display_1 is not 24p compatible.

So i have to go with Situation 3, and after MP is opened i have to move it manualy on Display_2. In that case Ref.rate changes on Display_2, and the 24p playback is smooth!

1. Why 24p playback is not smooth is the display is not set as primary display?
2. There is bug with determination of which display to change (ref. rate) on start/stop of playback

Related issue. Because I have a multi monitor setup which supports various fps now I can start working on all related multi-monitor issues. An update to the refresh rate changer is is the works. No additional Mantis needed. I work on the update under the above mentioned Mantis.
