It didn't do what you needed? Also no one is developing this plugin any more and there is at least one bug reported on it in Mantis.

Its looking for someone to take it over and improve it into the perfect Program plugin

I think this is often the biggest problem with OpenSource. Everyone starts their own thing, people are not so willing to work together or take over other projects.

Sometime its easier to start something new, then working with others. However, things will never move forward like that.

I have tested this plugin & find it easy to use.
All plugin development it's welcomed & I like the option to choose which one to use & don't have any problem if there are several "look a like", but I agree with James that would be fine if the existed program plugin was fixed & simplified (like this one)

My two cents worth...

I use Multishortcut (MS) for making my FM tuners work. I have created my own My Radio menu option for containing the FM stations. This works great especially as Mediaportal didn't support my different tuners!
However, MS didn't work for loading "The Simpsons" game for whatever reason.

I tried EasyApps and it will run the game/s.

I love choice!
Both apps have their place and for the total cost of just a download, I am not complaining.
Keep up the good work guys!
One constructive word of criticism though, why doesn't either app use a "file browsing" selection tool of some sort for loading the path of an app? Other then that they are excellent.

i have looked at the source of the my programs plugin and its very dificult to understand. So i think i would not take the dev of the current my programs plugin!

Maybe we can make one plugin with the function of MS and EasyApps. Maybe this is a good way to keep it easy and have all the functions we need.

To add buttons ( like MS ) in the Home / plugins menu i found a way before, but for this the plugin manager must be change.

Well, if here is enough response maybe we can create a new progrmans plugin!?

Ok i got it!!!!!

Changing the PluginManager gives more features. Such as select on which Menu the button is listed ( Home, My Plugins, or the EasyApps menu )

I create a patch a bit later with the testing plugin
now i only got the button with no function

so stay tuned 8)
