Enable bass, no feed over SPDIF in DVD. (1 Viewer)

Plain old v0.2.2.0.

For DVD I have the default wave device and MPA decoder. My MPA filters are all set for spdif passthrough.

When I play a DVD I get dolby/dts sound.... great!

So WHY when I enable "BASS player" for music (instead of internal dshow) does my DVD sound break? My dolby reciever reports no audio feed..... switch back to internal dshow for music and all is fine again?!?!?
