    Hi again

I think the graph issues are caused by the issue I mentioned earlier - attempting to use the tuner before the driver is ready. It seems you don't even have to try to tune a channel. Just for TV Server to detect the tuner may be enough. Please try to increase the delay before TV Server detects cards in the "general" section of TV Server configuration. Thirty seconds would be a good value to start with...

Figured it out. I think i mentioned it before in this thread but i had the exact same issue once i yanked the CAM and the subscription card. After that i started googling for problems that the original CanalDigitaal cam has trying to decode HD channels on a FloppyDTV S2 or FireDTV S2 i found a couple of entries that confirmed my hunch that it was a cam problem after all.

As it turns out the CanalDigitaal cam is actually some sort of MediaGuard 3 CAM and is actually "too slow" to decode certain HD encryptions fast enough for the FloppyDTV S2 / FireDTV S2. One of the entries mentioned an AstonCrypt 1.07 with firmware 2.23 or later as a possible solution.

I managed to find a second hand CAM on a local website and it works beautifully. Slid the card into the cam (very fragile design though), selected an HD channel that previously would've given me either an error or a corrupted stream and i had a nice a clear stream. It even started a lot sooner than i thought, but that could've just been me.

Anyway, tomorrow i'm going to have a ball setting up the rest of my plugins again now i've done a clean install of MP 1.1.3.

Thanks a lot MM for helping me figure out what was going on with this setup. :D

I don't know that I've been that helpful - maybe persistent, but not correct. Credit goes to you for working this one out! *Thank you* for your persistence and for reporting the solution. This is just another thing that I'll put in my mental notes for when I'm helping people in the future.

    :D:D:D
