Hi.

I get good TV image in TotalMedia and in WMC but as soon as I install MP 1.2.3.0 I get a "grey clowd" over the tv video. When I check TotalMedia again it's there too. If I uninstall and reinstall TotalMedia the image is fine there again but it is still clowdy in MediaPortal.
I strongly doubt it's a hardware issue, but rather some codec? giving me problems.

Any ideas? And I do want to use MediaPortal (in XBMC).

For MPEG2 it's using Gabest, H.264 - DivX H.264.

My guess is the audio codecs can't have anything to do with it?

Using LAV on both TV codecs and both audio codecs i still have the "cloud".

The card I'm using is an ASUS MyCinema-PE6X00 TV Tuner and it's recording an analogue signal.

Could we have some screenshots please? I suspect something may be doing picture "enhancement" - very common for analog signals - but it is hard to know without the screenshots.

    Thanks a lot!

You just made my day. :)

Saturation and hue was all the way down (rather than somewhere in the middle) and somehow MediaPortals settings seems to "spill over" to both WMC and TotalMedia.

    Thanks again, Lizzie
