EPG and show thumbs (1 Viewer)

Have i misunderstood something about what the show thumbs actually are? I believe it is a thumb for having integrated automaticly in the EPG guide - instead of just plain txt say ex. 'Simpsons' i get a picture(thumb) of Simpsons-logo?

Show thumbs are for recorded shows. They won't show in the EPG.
