    Hi Guys,

I have now installed 1.1.0 Final and it works really, really well. All my past problems with audio/video sync have disappeared, even the GF has started using MP as the user interface is now very smooth indeed. Great work!

I just need to add some finishing touches such as missing TV logos and get the EPG working fully for the channels that I use.

With the EPG it is 90% correct, however I'm not clear on where it is coming from. I have set up the Web EPG using the Radio Times data that came with the install, however, this doesn't seem to cover all the channels I use. I also set up the EPG for the DVB-S card using the Brit Shorts channel and Sky Background Audio. This seems to cover most of the satellite channels, however I am still missing the following:-

    CBS Reality+1
    Dave ja vu
    Quest
    Sky Travel
    Film24
    Rural TV
    Horse & Country
    Luxe TV
    Fitness TV
    Body in Balance
    Press TV
    TV News 2

Is there any file paths that I could paste into WebEPG in order to upload the programme info? The above channels are currently indicating some random channels.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    M.

    Hello mate,

Have a look here for logos:

    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...logos-mainly-uk-26137/index19.html#post646392 (many thanks to Wonkyd)

And here for DVBS Sky EPG (be warned this is unsupported by the MePo team version of Mediaportal - it is based on 1.1.0.0 Final, but with Sky EPG functionality included) - Only install the MePo Clinet - don't bother with the TVServer install... (many thanks Miroslav22 and DJBlu)

Then use this updated version of the TVServer client/server release (again - this is a non supported version of MePo 1.1.0.0 Final with updates to the TVServer side of things, including Gibmans Fix)

    Hope this helps,

    J.

    Thanks for that Jay!

The link to the logo's is very welcome. I'll copy over and see what is missing from my setup and contribute where I can.

I have tried the unsupported Sky/Freesat epg but it just caused problems, although in fairness I did't know if the probs were due to the change of tsreader files for the epg or down to the various Release Candidates of MP. Now my system has settled down I may give it another go.

I didn't know about the TV server update, I'll go and have a look and read the thread.
    :D

I have installed the updates as noted by Jay_UK and all seems to work OK. Not a huge difference in zapping times from Gibmans fix though.

The EPG seems to be populating OK, although I suspect I need to leave running overnight for some of the channels to grab data. Some of the more obscure channels now have programme data, although BBC Three and BBC Four are still empty. Still have a few logo's missing, so I'll get busy on photoshop and paste up when I've done.

I'll keep you posted on how it works too!
    :D

    Hi there,

EPG grabbing should be quick...but set the timeout to 20 minutes.

What EPG settings have you got set? Have you tried enabling fill gaps and update existing?

    Try a manual update too.

    Cheers,

    J.

    Hi Jay,

EPG now filled out and looking great. Well, everything except for "Dave ja vu" and "Quest" - odd, is there a 'path' for the radio times info I can paste into WebEPG to pick up these two channels that won't co-operate?
