I am Creating my own TV Station for a lack of a better phrase.

How do I program a guide so it may read on a n EPG reader or
set top box.

The set top box is already running MP.

Is there a program available to allow me a simple
way to update the guide I am trying to create.

The TV Station would only be one channel
The Program guide would be selecable by a button on the remote
or and Icone on the screen.

i do not exactly get what you're trying to do to be honest.

i assume you use any kind of a SVHS connection or something similar in MP. are you aware that you could use multiple SVHS inputs, so let's say 20 times SVHS each named to a specific channel and the use any kind of webEPG / xmltv nativly (or not nativly) supported by MP ? that's the way i did it before i upgraded to my new HTCP with DVB-S card.

I am trying to Publish a program listing.
It would only be for one channel.
I want my audience to be able and check a program guide
to plan for the educational material for the day.

I am unsure how to creat the needed file to send to the desktop box which has media portal 8.

I believe that Media Portal has a TV built into it but
what file does it see and how do I build that file.
