I have uptil recently only been watching Canal Digital Channels. After some tips from this forum I managed to get EPG data from the sattelite byt choosing only to grab epg from Discovery World. Strange enough.

But now i´ve added another LNB to tune in Viasat channels to. So, the question is. Have anyone gotten the sattelite EPG to work for Viasat? Or, is it not possible to get sattelite epg from two providers? I´ve tried discovery world from that provider too, but without success.

Yes, some of the channels is the EPG, but not many.

A quick search seems to indicate that any of the Viasat channels will do.

Set your EPG grabber to grab on Vision Norge for Canal Digital Scandinavia EPG.

Unfortunately no full EPG on the Viasat Baltic package. For example with the enigma2 (Dreambox 800HD) shows the EPG from the 11843 H, 11900 V and others Transponder. But in Mediaportal in these frequencies the EPG data not show.

Hi in thor satellite(cd package) there are two channels that dont have audio/video. But they provide epg data for a week at least.

They are epg3ota and epgresup. The must be added manually. details can be found from kingofsat for example

The More complicated version of what I said earlier.

The EPG data is on the same transponders as Vision Norge, just set the epg grabber to Vision Norge and TV sever will find the EPG data.

Also For some reason their isn't always Full EPG data on the new Transponder 10872V, It's always been on 12456V

Well... Unless CD changed it when they switched satellite and transponder, grabbing from e.g. Vision Norge only provides you with 2 days worth of EPG while epg3ota and epg3resup gives you 5 days.
