EPG from Canal Digital and Viasat (2 Viewers)

Sorry for bringing up this old topic.

I'm new to DVB-S on MediaPortal.

I've got both CanalDigital Nordic and the Viasat packages.

I tried to manually scan for the transponder that should contain EPG3 OTA and EPG3 RESUP for EPG on 0,8W. But the transponder doesn't send anything.

Do anyone know where to find those "EPG Channels"? Or is there a new solution?

Is there any change in EPG for Viasat on 4,8E? I only manage to get EPG for actual and next program.

When I add these channels per your instructions, and map them to the DVB-S card the tswriter.log says:

PMT Pid wasn't found on the PAT. Channel may have moved, try a new channel scan.

Any idea?

Could it that they have changed to different transponder?. Use kingofsat to find latest tunigdetails.

strange.. but if I use the Visjon Norge channel I get the epg, but don't know if it is the right one (length wise) or discov world i better?

Use Motors TV for Canal DIgital. When i tune into this channel my epg gets updated for 7 days

I'm trying to move from webepg to dvb epg grabbing using canal digital cable (norway). I've read somewhere that SVT1 contains a week for EPG for all channels, and when choosing SVT1 in the EPG channel list, the log shows epg for all channels. The problem however is that the EPG info is only assigned to the SVT1-channel. Log says the other channels are not configured for EPG grabbing.

If i select all grouped channels in the EPG channel list, I only get current and next program for all selected channels.

How do I use SVT1 to grab EPG for all channels, and assign the EPG to all grouped channels?

EDIT: I think I got it, needed to leave the checkbox in the EPG grab list unchecked and check only SVT1. This filled all my channels with EPG info. Seems impossible to fill only selected channels with EPG grabbed from one channel.
