Epg grabber seems to crash FloppyDTV (1 Viewer)

I have the same problem with the feature "EPG grabbing while idle" after some hours TVServer crashed. My solution is to disable the feature and enable only "EPG grabbing while timeshifting", this problem exist since ages.

Yep problem is well known and exists since first tv-server, somehow floppy dtv cards don't like 24/7 epg grabbing or are crashing when tuning to transponders that don't transmit signals in the expected form.

It would be also very helpfull if i could select with one button click to grap epg ONLY from the channels in the choosen channellist. Thank you in advance.

This would really be very helpful! There is a button "only grab grouped channels" but this is not helpful because for every satellite there is a group with all channels of this satellite (which makes sense). But then this button also enables epg for all these channels. A button "grab epg for specific group" would be needed.

BTW: I also have problems that my FireDTV crashes with specific channels, either BBC World or ARTE killed it. Then I had to kill TVService because it was blocked.

Sorry it took me some time to respond, have been away last week.

After the upgrade i had some problems with MediaPortal crashing when i got home. at the end of the week i found out it was de Asterisk CID plugin witch seemd to crash when the was no video playback to pause, After i disabled the plugin all worked better.

The freezing of the FloppyDTV-T has stoped and it seems to keep working.

I don't know for sure yet, because this weekeinde is dit crashed a few time, later i found out the the C;\ drive was filling up with recordings, how they got there is a mistery (they sould go to m:\ as configured)

Mediaportal was working oke right after disabeling the CID Plugin for 4 days, and is now working oke sinds i last Sunday cleaned out my c:\ drive .

At this point i can say that the upgrade was a succes.
