I've been trying to get this going for so long I may have forgotten some stages, but this is what I have done recently to try and solve the problem. I had no channels and no epg. I managed to set-up the TV server so I could see channels, but still no epg. On that same night I tweaked a load of things in services.msc, loaded tight vnc, and did some other stuff to try and make vista a bit quicker. That lead to my standby button on the remote not working and my lcd display going a bit odd. So I did a system restore to correct these errors, also undoing my good work on TV Server. Last night I still had the channels listed in TV Server config, but no channels and no epg in MP. I found the guide linked above after you mentioned that 10.0.2.0 webepg didn't really work. The guide suggests replacing webepg.exe and webepg.dll, using webepgconfig.exe to map channels and the new webepg.exe creates the xml file, which you point to in xmltv in the config. Still with me? I also set up 4the record last night, and now I have TV and EPG. Hooray. However, when I start TV Server config it says it can't find dvbt.xml. Everything works at the moment but I don't know how long for. It's a bit of a mess to be honest. And I've found the mediaportal guides to be a bit hopeless. Or maybe it's me. Any suggestions or help warmly received. Or if someone would like to come over to my house and fix it I'll cook you dinner. Thanks. Rich
