Hi i'm new to the whole epg thing and have a few questions.
I'm an aussie in country victoria.
1. I use 0.2 rc4 & open the tv guide & have no listings, but after i tune in to that channel i get a guide only for the current show and maybe one more. Can i setup so i get a guide for a few days & not have to tune in to that station for the data to come up. I'm assuming the version 0.2 rc4 comes with some kind of epg with support for aussies but maybe not the best option.
OR
2. Do i have to use one of the grabbers that i read about on the forums & if so can anyone give me the simpliest way to do this. Step by step instructions would be really helpful as i have trouble with all the xmltv stuff.

Yes, and the best one to use is DUGG. It is very easy to setup and is very reliable, fast and comprehensive.

Give it a try, and if you have any difficulties getting it to go, just ask here...

Thanx for the advice,dugg is without a doubt the best & easiest way to setup the epg for newbies. only a little config is needed and all explained very well. Maybe this could be included in the media portal setup in the future?
