haha yeah i know saying that is useless... alright.. u know the box where u select a recording folder, u know the one i mean as u said which has browse next to it.. one for recording folder one for recording temp folder.. in the past selected the folder using browse on one tuner, then copied the text and pasted it into the box for the other tuners. coincidental or not the first time ive seen that box grayed out is when my tv wasnt working.. i dunno..

The bahviour of that "box" was changed by one of our developers on purpose, because many users entered a wrong path.
And the results were...... very, very bad.
This is why you are now "forced" to browse to a folder which really exists.
I know that this more work, but the path will then at least be 100% correct.

You seem to have 2 dvb-t tuners, did you tune both and also under the recording folder tab, did you select from the drop down box, both cards individually for recording\timeshifting folders on your D:\ drive, ideally they should be set up as D:\Recordings\timeshift, so one folder is inside the other, the reason for all this, logs show channels not mapped to card.

ps, under the start menu, there is mediaportal logs collector, use this for collecting ALL logs, gives us much more of a clue

As I posted in another message, for some reason when the path and folder is on my server, the recording does not start. I wondered if it has something to do with permissions, so started MediaPortal as Administrator, but that caused MP to hang. If the path is on the HD MP is installed on, the recordings happens fine.

Hy,

just for info if someone still have problems.

Today i finaly find some time to fix some errors in my configuration and also found solution for this problem.

In table "shedule" a have field "series" which is missing in query that inserts shedule. So i changed from NULL to NOT NULL and now recording is working fine.
