After a week or two of normal use, all episode screenshots disappeared. I used stable release 2.0. Series banners and season banners are in place. My database is almost 2000 episodes including complete Doctor Who series (hundreeds of episode screenshots in one folder). I'm using modified black&blue skin.
I tried to remove everything from MPTVSeriesBanners folder and reimport episodes. It checked for banners and screenshots and downloaded everything from Internet. That resolved nothing: banners OK, screenshot disappeared.
Then I upgraded it to latest SVN - and no luck, screenshots not shown. And reimporting series does not check for banners and screenshots! If i remove them from MPTVSeriesBanners folder, they are not to be redownloaded. I tried to use alternative banner download logic - no luck.
I tried to use another skin (Monochrome 2.4) - well, there is a slight difference - instead of screenshot it places text "no image found". But screenshots are here! Right in each series' folder, "episodes" subfolder.
Logs are very short and show no errors at all. Just "started", "success" etc.
Almost all Doctor Who episodes were imported manually because they are numbered differently then in thetvdb.com and burned to dvds - rebuilding of database would be very painful.
UPD: Now when I add another series banners and screenshots for it are not downloading.
UPD2: Rebuilding of database helped, but is there a way to extract data from previous database and paste it into a new one (I mean software, working with databases of this format)?
UPD3: Problem solved. The cause of it was thetvdb.com glitch in DVD sorting of Seaquest DSV (the only series where I need dvd sorting).
