All episodes are parsed just fine, with correct season/epnr, but only S01E17-E22 get's added.
The rest is left out - no error is given, and the remaining eps is listed under "Manual Episode Importer".

    Once again, Log! or didn't happen.

    I'll simply ignore posts without logs attached in the future.

    This is weird. Now all the episodes are added sucsessfully. I haven't downloaded any new SVN's. I haven't changed dir's/filename. At the time it didn't work, I could remove the whole serie, run Import, and they still wouldn't be added. Tried that several times a day, over several days.

    And now it suddenly worked.... wtf...

    -----------------

    edit;

    It seems to be a on/off-"problem" thou. Now a special-ep of The 4400 won't get added.

    \\FILSERVER\The 4400\Extra\The 4400 S00E01 Unlocking The Secrets HDTV XviD.avi

    Get's parsed correctly. No "Special"-season shows up under The 4400-series. Shows up just fine in Manual Episode Importer. The episode is availibe on thetvdb.com under Specials, as episode 1. S00E01 should therefore trigger it just fine. The server is not offline, and the path is accessible.

    Ran an import once on each debug-lvl;
    MP-TVSeries Normal.log
    MP-TVSeries Debug.log

    However, if I removed the serie, tick "Clear Update Timestamps" and "Download episode info for the whole serie", and then run import, it works.

    Huuuge log;
    MP-TVSeries.zip

    Hmm, I have never had an episode not get picked up, worst cast scenerio being it can't find metadata online, but even then it shows up fine inside MP.

    So, assuming the filename you gave is a typo (the path isn't one that gets processed by the plugin) Log says no new files found, which indicates it parsed it and added it to the db, which is confirmed by the debug log.

    So let's say it is inside the db, then regardless of wether or not it find info for it online, it should still show up. If you can recreate the scenerio (you say it works now?) I would ask you to manually open the db and let me know value in there. An educated guess is that for some reason it doesn't set the seriesID right, which would be a severe bug.

    Bit hard to say because the file is already in the db and thus the initial import has already happened and isn't in the log. Next time you run into this, please manually check the db to verify its this severe problem, or something else. Or backup your db and import only the 4400 without those two settings you say make this work and debug loglevel so I can see exactly whats going on.

    I'll keep it in mind the next time it happens. It's not only The 4400 it's happened to.

    I forgot that I took two screenies after I ran Import the first times (before I ticked "Clear Update Timestamps" and "Download episode info for the whole serie").

    As you can see, the special-ep S00E01 isn't in the list (No "Special"-season), and shows up in the Manual Episode Import.

    You know. Now it's happening again. Annoying.

    I'll look into it tomorrow, fixing logs etc.

    Here's a screenie anyhow;

    Same Issue

    Hey everyone. First post here. I have been using this successfully for some time now. Just recently I needed to clear my database because I renamed a bunch of stuff. After that I am unable to get a full update, missing most of my shows in the db and it does not seem to make an effort to actually get any information online. The log shows (this is all that shows regardless of which logging is on when I try to start import and it shows this everytime):

    1421 found that successfully parsed and are not already in DB
    Parsing completed in 00:00:05.97

    I have deleted the db and the thumbs/banners and retried. I used the NatBur's TV Renamer to rename all my recorded shows and after that is when this occurred (note: i am not blaming that application just noting what i did). I also noticed that it is not asking me to select a name for one show that I did not rename that it asked me for before. It does not appear to be going out to the internet at all after it parses. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is my very favorite plug in. Alternately, if there is a way to fully uninstall and start over with this plug in I would be happy to try that as this worked perfectly before my renaming madness.

    Same Issue - Fixed For Me

    Hello again everyone. Just wanted to supply an update. I have found where my problem was. I had an old DVD season of Clerks Animated series. Upon further investigation of the log it appears that the system was giving that show ID as -33. Negative 33. Then it stopped looking for any other info. On a hunch I removed this series from my monitored directory and now everything seems to be working properly. I did do a new db/import just in case, but all seems well now. Moral of the story, even when the log looks like everything was OK look again, you may have a little hidden nugget of goodness in there like I did.

    are you storing your files on a local drive or a networked drive? I ask this because I was having the same problem with one of my HTPCs and not the other. The one with most of the TV files stored locally works perfectly, yet the networked computer was showing the xxxx found that successfully parsed and are not already in DB, and stops. It will detect all the local files but not the ones from anther computer. If this is your case try updating to the SVN release it solve my problem. Good luck.
