Ok. I've uninstalled all versions of .NET and reinstalled .NET 3.5 SP1 which, in turn, also installed .NET 2.0 SP2, 3.0 SP2, and their corresponding Language Packs. However, .NET 1.1 (and its Lang. Pack), 4 Client Profile and 4 Extended are not present now.MP seems to start correctly by now, but I'll wait for two weeks to see if the error comes up again. If it does, I'll post the log. Otherwise, I'll write here to say that the problem is solved (and I will thank you both).
