Error on realmagic remote and serial receiver (1 Viewer)

Hi

The following error message (see below) appered after configuration of realmagic Xcard remote and serial ir-receiver.

The setup is identical to similiar configuration discussed in "UIR/IRMan Serial Remote Support" thread.

The only difference that I can see is that I use a USB->serial converter, as my motherboard does not have a serial port.

The remote worked the first time I started media portal, but did not the second time. When entering the Media portal setup (and when trying to reconfigure the serial settings) the error message below appered.

I am not qualified to understand the message, so if anybody could help me it would be greatly appreciated.
