Everything went good up to this evening, but suddenly MP and Configuration form didn't open.
No logs, only strings from test utility:

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I misunderstood you, friend.
What's the use from just renaming the file, sorry?
You mean I should replace it with the new one to set MP from the very beginning?

The first victory - I renamed "mediaportal.xml.bak" to "mediaportal.xml" and everything went OK.
Strange enough - I had too many problems with TVServer3 that made me switch it off forever.
MP itself is working
