I keep getting these errors when trying to use PureAudio with ASIO4all over my HDMI audio...

and I get these errors when using Pureaudio on it's own without ASIO...

    What's happening here????

Also I noticed I don't get any sound at all even when playing MP3's with Pureaudio and ASIO4ALL.
(I do get MP3 output when I only use pureaudio on it's own).
Strange thing is that when this happens I don't get any errors from MP either...

You're trying to play tracks out of a CUE file.

This is not supported by PureAudio

Yeah I could see that as correct for the Radiohead files, but if you look at the Bjork files you can see they are seperate .dts files not .cue and I am getting the same error.

PureAudio does not support DTS files either. Look at the WMP Player plugin above and ACFile which will allow you to play DTS files

Ok I installed WMP player and ACFile and tested that decoding was working in WMP in Windows, all AC3 and DTS files playing just great.

SO I jump into MP, make sure the extensions are set for WMP plugin so it only uses that for AC3 and DTS, try to play the files and I just get either silence or hiss. The counter moves and tracks the song playing just fine. Checked the logs and no errors, it shows WMP plugin loading and playing the track just fine.

    This is super frustrating.

    @griffindodd:
Only DTS embedded in wav format can be played with pureaudio over ASIO. Apparently yours are 'raw' dts files. It is possible to convert them into embedded wavs (with tools from AC3Filter site).

However WMPPlayer should be able to play the raw files (using AC3Filter under the hood).

You say you get errors and then you say you don't get errors. You are probably playing different types of files with different problems. Please play one type at a time and create a seperate set of logs for each of them and post them onhere.

    Thanks Symphy,

I have no problem converting all of my multi-channel tracks to work well with pureAudio, in fact that was one of my original threads asking what format would play best with MePo. ASIO with multichannel is very important to me as I feel any other approach would completely defeat the object of having high quality encodes. I have never been a fan of AC3Filter or WMP as they never seem to play nicely with my audio equipment, that's why I fell in love with ASIO in the first place.

I'll work some more on this tonight and get logs.

It's odd that outside of MePo Foobar2000 can deliver DTS/AC3 over ASIO flawlessly for me and WMP plays DTS/AC3 no problem with AC3File installed, yet as soon as I get into MePo both ASIO and DTS/AC3 even through AC3File take a biggy smelly dump.
