Error - unable to delete recorded TV (1 Viewer)

I have tried to delete previously recorded/watched TV programs through the GUI, and I get an error

Error
Unable to delete recorded program

I am using 1.2.3, I have attached the Logs from debug mode.

Going directly into Windows Explorer, it says the file is being used by another program. Although what program would still be accessing it, I do not know.

Do you have Comskip activated which runs after recording? This would lead to a locked file until the process has been completed or killed.

@develop : Would it be possible to implement a comskip-kill before deleting?

Another scenario would be an anti-virus scanner. In that case try to exclude the recording folder from scanning.

After re-boot, the programs were then gone without me even trying to delete them again. Comskip does run after the recording, however it was days after that I tried to delete the program. I did not see the comskip process running in task manager, I am not sure where else I would find out what program had a hold on the file. Thanks much!

It could have been mtn (the thumbnailer process), but nothing about that in the logs. Your logs show a normal delete procedure:
