I cannot reply with all your wanted info in detail. But you might wanna have a look at the eventghostplus plugin settings. You'll find a button there for the mapping. There you'll find all the buttons and their corresponding actions in MP. You can even tweak them there to your needs.
Regarding the question about Power1 and waking up the system: This is a little bit trickier. First of all your infrared receiver will have to be able to catch the signal while the system is sleeping. And then the trigger for the wake will have to be caught on a lower level of the system. Eg an MP are not involved here.
