ther is no install file or have i gone blid .

You go to post #1 and click on the really big "Download Here" and then in the link that opens you click on the very big "Download" button.....

To avoid confusion, I removed the sources from post #1 and I'll add them to the repository.
Through the repository one can download the mpei installer and now also the sources are there as "archived file" for those who are interested. I hope this settles the confusion here...

the one where you click on it and it downloads the file "eventTrigger.mpe1" ?

Perhaps try to refresh your browser.

Just replace zip in filename with mpe1 and everything is fine

Thx moryoav,

MP now starts without any problem and EG starts running in the background. unfortunately I don't get any devices.
maybe a stupid question. Do I need to install and Activate Telldus Live?
I attach a screenshot how EG looks.

MP now starts without any problem and EG starts running in the background. unfortunately I don't get any devices.

you have to install TelldusCenter
and in Eventghost you have to add the Tellstick plugin
and then you have to add a macro
and in macro you have to add a trigger and a event

The hanging have stoped but it still starts a second copy of eventghost but only when ju clicking plugins in MediaPortal Configuration

Hi Neorules, thank you for staying on board here, I'll figure it out eventually...
My initial feeling here is that you have two different installations of EventGhosts and the one that is running in the background is in a different path than the one you inserted into MP configuration. Let's try this; go to where EventGhost is and run:
"EventGhost.exe -e Hello.World" without the quotation marks "".
See if that opens a new instance of EventGhost.

Hi Neorules, thank you for staying on board here, I'll figure it out eventually...
