Somewere on this forum i've read that it's a best practice to use EVR on vista. To use EVR correctly you must use the aero(because DWM), and if you have a home basic version, you must use the vista standard theme because this uses also DWM. I thought EVR should fix my "screen goes sometimes blank error", but it isn't. WHen this happens i read the following in the mediaportal.log:

I read many times VMR9, but i use EVR. I there is also a EVR log. But why i'm reading so much VMR9 in the log?
TSReaderPlayer: Enabling DX9 exclusive mode
My question is: am i using EVR or VMR9 and does someone know what the PIN does not connected error means?
I have attached a few logs but the don't contain the error. You can read the error in my post.
