Well, I'm waiting for the .11 release before i reinstall everything...
But there doesn't seem to be any progress yet, checking Mantis every day... :-(

According to Mantis, there's still no progress...

Maybe we should change the error category in Mantis from "Power Scheduler" to "general" - I don't think that this error is the Plugin's fault, and maybe we get the attention of more developers this way...?

Hi Kulle,

you can find this useful small utility here:

http://www.startonwake.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/StartOnWake.exe

You have to create a text file called StartOnWake.txt with the commands you want to be executed when the PC wakes up. I'm using it to start a simple batch file which kills the MediaPortal process and restarts it (and some other things). Works great!

Niiiiiiice, thanks. I will try to follow the mini-guide from this thread.

Unfortunately I am still working on getting the system to wake up automatically when there is a recording due. No luck.

Do you people use S3, S1 or S1+S3 in your BIOS setting? And Standby or Hibernate in Mediaportal / Power Scheduler plugin?

I'm using S3 (Hibernation), of course I configured my BIOS and the PowerScheduler plugin accordingly. PowerScheduler wakes up my PC when a recording is due, works fine.

I just use the built in PowerScheduler to wake my computer from hibernation before a scheduled recording.
Works well here
