Windows Version: XP SP2
CPU Type: Athlon
Memory: 512
Motherboard: Shuttle
Video Card: Nvidia Geforce fx 5200
1. TV Card: Nova-T PCI
Video Codec: all
Audio Codec: all
Satelite/CableTV Provider: freeview
TV - HTPC Connection: s-video
CVS-snapshot from: 01-03-2006--01-03.rar
Whenever I attempt to fullscreen video when "exlusive directx video mode" is on the screen freezes and no more video is displayed. The sound keeps playing though.
My error log (in the testing files attached) has lots of directx3d errors, the first of which is...
04/01/2006 20:16:47 04/01/2006 20:17:02 AllocResources exception:Error in the application. -2005530516 (D3DERR_INVALIDCALL) at Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3D.Device.get_DeviceCaps() at MediaPortal.GUI.Library.GUIImage.AllocResources() at MediaPortal.GUI.Library.GUIWindow.AllocResources()
I updated to the latest DirectX but no change. Switching off exclusive directx does fix this problem but then I get nasty vertical tearing the whole time.
Can anyone help with a further line of investigation? TIA
