Hi

I see that many people have issues about using exclusive directX or not. I am not sure about what this option does.

Can someone explain in short terms what exclusive directX mode is and the difference in having the option on or off?

I believe it means that the application runs in fullscreen mode and no other programs are allowed access to the video hardware (hence exclusive). You can do a simple Google search to find information like this if you want to read further (I believe exclusive directx mode also exclusively gets events/messages).

I think the advantage is that it allows smoother full screen video than the non-exclusive mode.
