Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

Click OK to terminate the application
Click CANCEL to debug the application.

Every time I start Media portal I get this error. I have uninstall and reinstalled this several time but nothing happens. Can you help me. IT was working before but I did a CTRL + DEL and ended the application. Every since I get this message. I updated my .Net with the latest support packages.

ok chaps discovered why this is causing the problem!

I discovered there were two files called Mediaportal.xml and mediaportal.xml.bak in my mediaportal folder.

I simply replaced the mediaportal.xml with mediaportal.xml.bak

This corrected the exception error and now Media portal works correctly
