Yes, you really have to leave it plugged into an STB to be sure it will get updated. I'm not sure if the Twinhan/Azurewave driver updates the card. I'm off to bed now, but I'd be keen to hear if you manage to get it working.

I've got an STB, but it does not use CAM. Guess I need to get it updated in a IDTV.

Btw, there was no CI-menu listed in the window, so I guess that is a no.

Hmmmm, I've got the Technisat Skystar HD2, which is an AD SP-400 clone. The same family of cards. Unfortunately I don't have a CI slot for it otherwise I'd be able to look into this problem. Do you know of anywhere where I can get the Technisat version (Twinhan and Terratec would work, but prefer to stick to same brand) of the CI slot for less than 30 euro?

Hi. I have now tested, and can report that all channels from Norwegian supplier "RiksTV" Works. Just installed the included drivers, and enabled CAM in Setup (MP). Nice. A bit slower channelchange on paytv channels, (4 sec?).

Hi. I was quite surprised too. It works quite well. I've had fireDTV, floppyDTV, Anysee... Seems to work as well as firedtv at the moment, have to wait a bit for stability reports.

CAM: Bought it on Elkjøp (technicrypt cxv?). The pairing started the same day as i bought it. This was in june. But i didnt use the cam before now, and the pairing only lasts for 20 days. So i rung RiksTV and said that I didn't use the card before now on my Samsund D7005 (This is b*llshit, but I had to mention a supported TV). So they turned on pairing for another 20 days. No problem. The card was updated in my Twinhan. No need for IDTV methinks. I did try it in my anysee at first (which don't work for paytv i n MP), so it is possible it was paired there. But i find this unlikely.

I'm using Win7.

I'm trying to avoid The Julekalender english, but its not easy...

EDIT: Saw your link. I'm using the 3.3 version of the driver, included with the card.

Damn. What can I be doing wrong, then... I'll try to get the CAM in a IDTV today to secure it being updated (or paired?).

I was a bit eager, so I inserted the CAM in the CI whilst server was still on - hope that didn't screw anything up.

Due to the low price, I bought two cards, so I can even check for a defect card. (Unless their both defect )
