Nice work Tony! You did a great job for MP TV usage. I have never seen any freezes since the earlier tsreader mods. Using MS video codecs.
    Much better WAF.
Is there any work left on tsreader?

59c is the smoothest I have ever used. Switching fast (SD->SD in less then 2 sec) and starting almost without slowmotion!!!

    thx tony

i'll give the 59c a try at my friends HTPC ...

he often got the problem that he start TV nothing happend - press stopp button
start again and it works ...
i thought with the 1.2.3 version of MePo that problem was solved ... (black-screen bug @ starting live-TV)
he did a clean install (including Vista Recovery)
    but still has that problem...

    cross the fingers...
    and i'll report :D

after some test - looks good so far from my side here
    @ my friends single-seat installation

    - black-screen after starting TV is gone
    - the "black-screen-recording-problem" is also gone ...

    good job mate ...
    perfect.

    :)

EDIT: just a question for me myself and i left:

the tsreader.ax is in both folders:

    Team MediaPortal
    - MediaPortal - TsReader.ax
    - MediaPortal TV Server - TsReader.ax

in your first post you wrote just copy (thats like fire & forget for me)
yesterday i just did the copy-job for the MediaPortal folder -
    - i did not copy your 59c into the "MediaPortal TV-server" folder

i thought the tsreader is a filter which splits the audio and video stream (frontendjob)
why it is also hmm presentin the tv-server folder... and it is needed to be changeed too?

sorry if that is a stupid question... :)
i am new in all the filter stuff ;)

    i ask - couse i have a multi-seat installation - and so i have two machines with
tsreader.ax's on it .. one in the basement .. and one in my living-room ;)
(ok also one in the sleeping-room)

    regards

    Hi,

You are right, TsReader is only needed in mediaportal folder (and can be registered only once) so you can remove the one from TVServer :)

    thx sebastiii,

*smile* one answer brings one new question -
hmm why is a tsreader.ax in the tv-server folder when it is not needed?
i found that folder on a WinXP machine here in my office (dedicated tv-server / multiseat installation)
with MePo 1.2.1 on it ...
