External player being ignored in 1.5 Final (1 Viewer)

Hoping someone can help

I use Arcsoft to play all my Bluray content and have been doing this since version 1.3. I've setup the external player in MP config under video player as I normally have and are finding even though the external player is selected, MP ignores this and use's the internal player. I have a client still with 1.5 pre release and with the same settings works with the external player perfectly.

anyone have any ideas

I did Uncheck that option with no joy, I just setup moving pictures with an external player and that seems to be working how it was before. I just thought I'd put it out there as Im sure there will be more people asking about this?
