External player for Radio? (1 Viewer)

Mediaportal is great, but the Radio section is crappy! No support for Realaudio stream, locks on some stations, etc....


Is there any way to use Mplayer to play radio streams in Mediaportal? Mplayer from dos command line on my pc plays quite everything, so it would be great if I could use it also in MediaPortal.

I easily found how to set Mplayer as external player for videos, but I can't find any option to set external players for radio.

I tried to use the Mplayer plugin, but it is not a very good solution... Seems more oriented to play videos than radio streams.
