external player, MPC-HC, & iso files (1 Viewer)

I've spent hours trying to get this to work, but am having zero success.

How can I get Moving Pictures to use MPC-HC as an external player (not the filters) to play blu-ray isos? The best I can achieve is getting the iso to mount, but then MP locks up (must use ctrl-alt-delete to close with task manager). MPC-HC never starts or anything. I think my problem is with the arguments. But, I've tried everything I can think of for the arguments.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am assuming you are running Moving Pictures 1.0 Beta or Beta 2? I am sorry you have spent so much time on this so far joikd, but there is a known issue with image file based Bluray playback in our latest version. We are fervently working on the issue and if you star it on our bug tracker you will receive email updates as we make progress. For the time being though there is no known work around aside from rolling back to the last stable release, 0.7.5. Very sorry.

Thanks for the quick reply! I'll just roll back--that's no big deal. Any idea what to place in the arguments (so I won't have to try all of the different possibilities again)?

Sorry this is not my area of expertise. Best advice I can give is to take a look at the guide on the wiki.

As far as rolling back to 0.7.5, make sure you restore your backed up database. It should be in the "MovingPictures_Backup" folder under the MediaPortal databases folder
