For TV playback no doubt. But I would like to use zoomplayer for the movies, though.

The internal player is too limited when it comes to configurations like aspect ratio and quick codec tinkering.

I still don't understood why there is no player selection as for the other basic playback topics DVD and video.

Zoomplayer also has a simple feature that mediaportal doesnt have and thats the ability to jump from bookmark to bookmark without going through a clunky menu system. With zoomplayer if you have a file with a lot of bookmarks you can simply go to "next bokmark" or previous" bookmark with a simple button press. with mediaportal you can be many button presses away from your bookmarks depending on how many you have.
