Quick hardware question...is an external USB2 HDD (5400rpm) going to be fast enough (transfer speed) for recording and playing back HD-TV via Media Portal?
Or would I need to use an eSata drive?
Ideally, I'd like a drive which doesn't require a separate power supply, but my PC doesn't support power-over-esata, so if USB2 is good enough, I'll use that.
Thoughts please?
