I've installed all the required updates and components, yet when I attempt to scan for channels in TV-Server Configuration I get prompted to install a supported A/V encoder. However, both MainConcept and the Intervideo MPEG2 encoders are installed according to GraphEdit. Opening up the MediaPortal Configuation app shows Intervideo encoder options, like the encoder is installed and recognized. Looking at the "tv" log the TV server seems to find both encoders but for both of them it prints an error:
failed to connect video pin->video compressor
What does this mean and how do I fix it?
The tuner works fine with WinTV 7.
