Fan art - Help (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I am a new user. I chose mediaportal for the tvSeries plugins (and fan art).

I download and install the latest plugin, and then some skins (Aeon wide, ReVision, Spin Safe ...) who accept the fan art function.

Then i put some png from the forum and Online TV Database - An open directory of television shows for HTPC software site in the "C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\fan art"

The plugins work correctly but i have not the picture in the background.

Did i miss something,
Please Help me,

I have not yet tried the FanArt-part, but maybe post number 6 in this thread can assist you.

But this is simply tvseries.xml to change the aspect of the tv series pages.

My problem is to have a background picture of the tv series.

Which Version of MP do you use ? From 1.0. RC1 you have to put FanArt in c:\Documents and Settings\Username(or All users?)\Application Data\Team Mediaportal\Media Portal\Thumbs\Fan Art (path came form memory, if it´s not 100% correct, I´m sure you´ll find your way...)

Hi rachik

New skins like Aeon Wide support FanArt downloads\install from within the GUI menu, select your series, info button remote or f9 and select fanart, download the pictures with ok\enter, repeat as necessary.

Note however that this does require one of the unstable newer svns, it is not included in the latest stable build. It may crash (and even bring down MP with it), be prepared for that.

Running MP1.0RC2 here, no svn, no crash so far
