This is a known error, for which a solution has already been made:

    r1088 - moving-pictures - Project Hosting on Google Code

However if you do not know how to compile from source or implement the fix in another way, then you just will have to disable the IMPAwards scraper and rely on the other available ones, such as TheMovieDb for the time being.

Guys, I updated to the IMDB scrapper 1.5.7 and chose it to download cover art and disabled the impawards scrapper. But for some reason it's still not grabbing backgrounds or cover art. Any clues on how to fix it up?

Saying it doesn't work is not enough, could be zillions of reasons, a debug enabled log file, with in this case scraper-debug logging enabled is the only way to make sense as to why it stopped working for you.

So until you provide the right log file, it is impossible to find a solution. And try to keep log file as clean and to the point as possible. Nobody wants to search for a needle in a haystack, so importing 1000 movies when 1 is the problem is not as useful as only importing that single problematic movie.

Fair enough, here is the movingpictures.log file from when I sent 1 movie back to the importer to get all details, backdrops and cover art. Thanks!

Looks like you caught a bug.

Seems IMDb.com once again updated their website.

Please try the attached update, and get back to me with your results, so that I can submit it as update for the next MovingPictures release.

PS: IMDb does not provide any background images, and the quality of their covers is usually bad as well, so eventhough I want you to test the cover part, it is usually best to put the MovieDb.org scraper at highest priority for covers and backdrops, until the IMPAward fix has been incorporated into the next public version.

Hooray. The IMDB 1.5.4 update worked and it is now grabbing cover art.

Any chance I can get the MovieDb.org scraper data source file from you? I do not have the MovieDb.org option in any of the data source lists.

    Thanks!

It's internal, so you should have it, use the restore missing/default scraper option otherwise.

Hmmm ok, I did the "Restore Default Sources" option and I do not have a MovieDb.org scraper option in the lists
