I removed them from thumbs - so they are not there and should be installed - something is weird here

It behaves MediaPortal Extension Manager it checks the package itself. But do not the contents of the package. If you remove all the packages (Awards, Genres, Studios). And put again, the installation should go fine.

This is a question to the developers MediaPortal Extension Manager, I just use this tool and all. It works as it works.

Awards Package installed, when reinstall FH package MPEM check awards package and if version equals, then skip this step ...

Try remove from MPEM Awards, Genres, Studios packages, and reinstall FH ...

Your installer IS wrong!
Just copied it from your repo, and this is what I get:



As you can easily see, the folders for skin images, awards, genres and studios are empty, furthermore they have the wrong structure:
Skin images must be a folder with the other three as subfolders!
And all those are subhfolders of language....
So pls make your homework correct and don´t blame the MPEM
