Fanart handler Updates (1 Viewer)

Has anyone tried using fanart handler version 1.3 with Amped. When I use it I get no display of my music fanart. To install it I followed these steps.


Uninstalled 1.0
Deleted my fanart database, made a backup of all my fanart and deleted fanart.xml

Installed 1.3 then reset the databse in fanart handler config.

The database looks fine in the fanart handler config, everything seems to be there and is enabled. The fanarthandler logs look fine, but no fanart ever displays.

When I switched back to 1.0 of the plugin fanart displays again.

Hi Jamiro, ver 1.3 required skin changes. Did you update from aMPed svn? FH plugin is already up to version 1.5 but I believe no further skin changes have been required since 1.3. Thanks Dadeo, yeah I figured as much because the plugin appeared to be working fine. I'm not updating from Amped SVN. If you can message me the details for the latest SVN, I'll check it out.

I just noticed 1.5 has been released. I have used the SVN in the past Dadeo, so I will read the guide and have another go.

When will there be another release of Amped to support 1.5?

There shouldn't be any changes to the skin for fanart handler 1.5 if it already supports 1.3.

1.5 added features in the handler config and does scraping better.

Yep, as Chuck said - if you use the files from SVN you can upgrade to Fanart Handler 1.5 - I am using it without problems. Your extensive use of Music would be a good torture test Jamiro!

Just thought I would let you know, I just updated to SVN, and have fanart handler 1.6 working fine.

NP 1.7 was just released as well, although I don't think the auto update file in MPEI has changed yet. However, it should work fine too, no skin changes since 1.3.
