Feature Request: User defined filters for views (1 Viewer)

I want to have a view like JustAdded but with an Unwatched conditon. So when a new episode is watched, it will disappear from view. I thought that I could make one like it myself, but it seems it's currently not possible. Would it be possible to either add a view like that one, or put a row of filter checkboxes that you can apply to your own custom views? For example:

* Unwatched
* Watched
* JustAdded
* etc.

We really need to find a way to make view config acessible to the user.
What you want is perfectly possible, but it involves you manually editing the database to insert a custom views definition, or change a current one. Are you comfortable with that?

+1 i would also like if there was an option where recently added or latest views were able to have a unwatched setting / additional view

Glad to see this is being discussed here. I was asking about this is the wrong area.

This would make a nice addition to the overall usability of mediaportal.

i did what was in this thread to create latest unwatched and recently added unwatched and it works well and is pretty easy

Hmm I tried this out and it wasn't quite what I was looking for.

I was hoping for a menu to pop up like with moving pictures and it would display these options like genre, recently added, etc...

well, a menu does popup when you hit switch view its really pretty similar. in the new MePo 1.2 you can jump directly to a view from basic home too.
