Few SHORTCUT KEYS suddenly don't work (1 Viewer)

Hi guys, i use a wireless mini keyboard to control mediaportal and all of a sudden there are a few shortcut keys which don't work

These include 'U' for going up a directory structure and 'L' for turning subtitles on and off. When i press these buttons now, they do something different.


I have tried 2 different keyboards so it's not that

Interestingly, when i remote desktop into my HTPC and use the keyboard controls from my laptop, the U and L work fine

Really weird

Any ideas how to fix this ?

a simple reason can be that numlock is switched on, so pressing 'u' sends a '7' and 'l' sends '6'.
