This option should better be set to stop by default to prevent BSOD's and provide better compatibility especially to new users.
This might be done for the final version of 1.2.0.
But you just discovered an bug in the drivers of your TV-Card.
Would be nice if you could send their support a mail. :)

Good idea. But this means i must found out which card... Terratec Cinergy 2400i DT Dual or Mystique SaTiX-S2 Dual, or both? Any suggestions?

There is a newer driver version for my Satix-S2 Dual's - maybe this could help.

I already talked to the developers: they (also) mean that this is a bad idea to pause the graph when idle. doing pause, i.e. you can't switch off DiSEqC components (power saving).

So I clearly vote for making the "stop" behaviour as default (btw, vwho decided to add this option and also change the default?)

even if it causes trouble in your config it does not necessary mean its a bad feature.
i also had trouble with bsod's in the past, but i appreciate gibman's work and the lower
    tuning delays.
