Hi all,
I'm using MP 1.1.0 RC1 + SAF 4.00RC2 with SPDIF passtrough and I'm happy with it.
Now I want to get HDMI audio or SPDIF passtrough depending of my desires, simply by switching Audio Device within MediaPortal. Both, HDMI-Audio and SPDIF are activated on Vista, being SPDIF as default device.
Better explained, I want to get stereo HDMI or DTS/AC3 SPDIF, simply by changing the audio device on MP, if possible.
I tried the following:
Doing nothing more than changing device on MP -> AC3/DTS videos do not play via HDMI.
FFDShow Audio Decoder - Output - untick DTS and AC3 passtrough -> HDMI audio works, but only get stereo via SPDIF.
FFDShow Audio Decoder - activate Mixer - 2 channels -> HDMI audio works but video is choppy. Only stereo via SPDIF.
(same happens setting 5 channels or whatever other speakers mode I set)
Previous FFDShow settings together -> AC3/DTS videos do not play via HDMI.
Tried all of the above with/without adding FFDShow Audio Decoder to MP Postprocessing, same results.
Also tried all the above setting HDMI Audio as default device on Vista, same results.
Any ideas?
