I can't play any .avi files anymore. No divx, no xvid, they just don't work anymore. It seems that ffdshow is not working anymore. </p><p></p><p>All video files i've tried work properly with VLC. But when I try them in windows media player or MediaPortal, they just don't play. Windows Media Player reports that there was a problem playing the file and returns the code C00D11B1. Have you installed all necessary filters?..."</p><p></p><p>I tried to reinstall Windows Media Player - nothing!</p><p>I tried to reinstall ffdshow - nothing! </p><p>I tried to reset Windows XP to a previous System Restore Point - nothing!</p><p></p><p>I don't have any other codecs (Divx, Xvid) installed, just ffdshow (tried different versions, right now i have 2004-10-12).
