Is there a facility to assign file icons?

The idea of folder.jpg is nice. But I need more.

My 4 year old is successfully using the media portal as long as there is a descriptive picture there. So I just want to draw up and assign icons for the files he would like to use frequently.

Album arts and movie database is solving only part of the material. But there is alot of other chilld material which do not have cover arts from such sources.

So I wish I could assign icons to individual movie and sound files...

I think perhaps you can use filename.jpg to give a file a picture?

This works in the MyPrograms plugin at least.

Isn't it 'filename.tbn'? I use it like that.

yea, but one day I forgot to rename some extensions and filename.jpg worked fine too :shock:

Thanks. I started using filename.jpg. Now I have a mediapotal easily handled by a 4 year old.
