Installed MediaPortal 1.2.0 today after fresh download. Cannot setup the TV Server for DVB-S to watch TV. Have done all steps according to manual incl "UPDATE SATELITE LIST" before "SCAN for CHANNEL". It works well with WIN TV7 and I can watch TV there incl HD programmes - so also cable and this is all working correct.

In the attachment is the log that says this : "C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TuningParameters\dvbs\19.2°E Astra 1H,1KR,1L,1M.xml"
cannot be found.

On my PC, there is no such directory nor file at all but just
C:\Programme(x86) \ TeamMediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server \Plugins

Any idea ? Have searched the whole site but cannot find anything which helps. Your help would be appreciated a lot !

    Hi and welcome newmpuser001 :)

We've had issues with fastsatfinder over the last week or so - the "update satellite list" function has been broken because their server has been overloaded or they have removed our files. Please read -->this<-- thread for more details. I've provided a zip file with the latest tuning details on the second page of that thread - the ini files should go in C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TuningParameters\dvbs\".

Thank you veryy much !!! This helps. But I also had to create those directories manually because the installation procedure of MP does not consider to create the correct directories in the normal installation procedure. When executing the customized installation i created those and with your files for the satellites it works fine!! Have a great day !! Appreciate your help!

The directory would have been created as long as you ran the installer with administrator privilege (administrator privilege is required to create folders in that area. Also keep in mind that C:\ProgramData is a hidden folder on Windows 7. You have to either enable viewing of hidden folders or paste the path into the address bar in Windows Explorer.

Let me know if you have any further trouble. :)
