Longtime MP user here that just moved to a location with Verizon's FIOS digital TV service from a place with only analog that worked flawlessly. TV hardware is a Happauge HVR1850. As expected, only the unencrypted ClearQAM channels show up. Searched forums a bit for fios-related stuff but there wasn't anything remote recent...
Is there any setup guide available describing how to set up my IR blaster to control the set top box, and how to configure everything? I'm guessing all I need to do is connect the STB coax output to my hauppauge (digital or analog?) coax input, and configure the blaster to switch channels for me, right?
Any americans out there that have this working?
