FireDTV remote? (2 Viewers)

Hi,

I noticed that FireDTV remote has stopped working again. I updated to the latest MediaPortal 1.0 RC2 and latest SVN (2008-09-06). After installing I copied Firesatapi.dll to MP's root directory and started configuration. It founded channels and everything else fine, but when I go to configuration->remote->firedtv->tick "Use FireDTV receiver" and open drop-down list, it's empty. So I can't choose it. This one's happened couple times before and reason for it has been some changes in code (MP's or digital evereywhere's). Could someone confirm this?

Little more information:

I'm using Windows Vista 64 bit version. I looked up to error.log and MediaPortal.log files and found something.

I reinstalled vista couple days ago and installed new beta drivers (5.0 just came out) from Digital-Everywhere's web site. I don't have those older drivers anymore, so I could test if that's the reason. It worked with those older drivers, but I also had older SVN so it could be either way.

I did little more investigation. FireSatapi.dll is new version(1.1.2226.0 and modified at 2008-09-06) like almost every file, that came with new drivers. I also tried FireSatapi.dll from 32-bit install package and remote works with that version, so the problem is in new drivers. I can send new FireSatapi.dll if someone is willing to take a look at it or you can download it yourself from http://www.digital-everywhere.com/en/alcms/file/setup/080831_firedtv_beta_setup_5_0_n.zip

I can only confirm that this problem exists. I just set up MediaPortal for the first time with a similar configuration, and the combo box for the receivers remains empty. Guess I will try what you wrote about the 32bit version of the dll.

Fortunately I can also confirm the solution. If I copy the Firesatapi.dll from the 32bit distribution to my MediaPortal folder, the remote works fine under Vista 64 bit with the 64 bit drivers.

For me its the same. I've updated from 1.0 RC1 to RC3 and the Remote is no longer working - I can't select the receiver in the mediaportal configuration.
I've tried using the dll from the backup of the old installation and and also the one from the 32bit drivers doesn't work.
